Cell Organelles
Golgi Body:
An organelle present in many eukaryotic cells; consisting of flat, disk-shaped sacs, tubules, and vesicles, it functions as a collecting and packaging center for substances that the cell manufactures for export; also called dictyosome in plants. The term Golgi complex is used to refer collectively to all of the Golgi bodies of a given cell.
